　　耶魯大學 Yale University終身教授&項目主任

　　Kaveh導師是一位傳染病流行病學專家，現任耶魯大學流行病學終身教授、公共衛(wèi)生項目主任，在耶魯大學講授公共衛(wèi)生倫理、全球衛(wèi)生等課程，曾獲耶魯大學年度教學獎、曾任美國國立衛(wèi)生研究院(National Institutes of Health，NIH) 國立藥物濫用研究所(National Institute on Drug Abuse，NIDA)顧問，擁有耶魯大學公共衛(wèi)生博士學位。Kaveh導師的研究聚焦傳染病流行病學、全球衛(wèi)生、人道主義健康，特別是艾滋病毒/艾滋病、結核病等流行病預防與控制以及健康在國際關系中的作用，研究成果獲多方認可，學術引用量為3247，i10-index63。

　　Dr. Kaveh is now an Associate Professor of Epidemiology (Microbial Diseases) and Program Director of BA-BS/MPH Program in Public Health at Yale. He is an infectious disease epidemiologist and his primary research interests are the epidemiology, prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis among people who use drugs, prisoners and other at risk populations in United States and in resource-poor countries. Dr. Kaveh's other interests are the health of refugees and other forcibly displaced populations and the ethical dilemmas in research involving vulnerable populations. He received his M.P.H. and Ph.D. from the Yale School of Public Health. He received the Teacher of the Year Award from the Yale School of Public Health and the Surgeon General’s Certificate of Appreciation. Dr. Khoshnood also served as a consultant for the Office of AIDS Research at the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

　　幾乎所有科學學科都與生命科學息息相關。生命科學的研究范圍之廣，從宇宙生物的過去與現在到個人維持生命的精微活動;涵蓋學科之多，從生態(tài)學、植物學、動物學、細胞生物學、遺傳學到流行病學、生物語言學、行為學、生物統計、毒理學，無一不在關注有關生命的最基本的問題，即我們生活的世界和如何更好地生活。流行病學關注跨越國界的人道主義健康問題。舉個例子，作為自2009年甲型H1N1流感以來世衛(wèi)組織首次評定為全球大流行的流行病，COVID-19疫情需要各國家地區(qū)因地制宜做好防控的同時精誠合作，盡可能減輕疫情給全球健康與經濟造成的負面影響。項目將聚焦COVID-19全球大流行疫情下的全球健康與公共衛(wèi)生現狀與應對策略。

　　項目介紹

　　項目內容包括全球衛(wèi)生的定義、歷史與核心概念，傳染病流行病學概念與原理，流行病、地方病與全球大流行的流行病學特點、差異、風險要素以及暴發(fā)情況，HIV/AIDS、COVID-19等全球大流行應對策略等。學生將通過項目熟悉全球衛(wèi)生史，了解如何區(qū)分流行病、地方病與全球大流行，描述并闡釋HIV/AIDS、COVID-19等全球大流行應對策略，在項目結束時，提交項目報告，進行成果展示。

　　由諾如病毒引起的學校胃腸炎爆發(fā)疫情的流行病學研究

　　流行病學的埃博拉出血熱的傳播與爆發(fā)仿真研究

　　This project includes the definition, history and core concepts of global health, epidemiological concepts and principles of infectious diseases, epidemiological characteristics, differences, risk factors and outbreaks of epidemics, endemic diseases and global pandemics, HIV/AIDS, COVID- 19 other global pandemic response strategies, etc. Students will be familiar with the global health history through the project, understand how to distinguish between epidemics, endemic diseases and global pandemics, describe and explain global pandemic response strategies such as HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, and submit a project report at the end of the project to display their results .
